Vinings Downhill 5K Run for the Kids - August 8, 2026
This year was the 30th Annual fundraiser - the Vinings Downhill Run for the Kids! Over 1300 registrants ran the net-downhill 5K race that benefits children's causes in the immediate vicinity. Starting at the top of Mount Wilkerson, the race ends near the Chattahoochee River. Runners then move to the After Party at Vinings Jubilee for snacks, sports drinks, interaction with vendors, and awards! The Jubilee is also where the Kids Run Run and Doggy Dash occurs. Always fun to see the kids' excitement and the dogs in amazing costumes!
The 2026 Race generated over $100,000 for charitable causes that will be announced in November 2026, following the grant application process. A celebratory lunc for Race Sponsors and grant recipients will be held on January 20, 2027.
