Pinots to Fight Polio on World Polio Day

As a fundraiser for World Polio Day, our Foundation Chair, Brad Groff, created a fundraiser at the local Vineyard Wine Market in Smyrna. Each Rotarian and guest that came contributed $50 each and received two glasses of wine (Pinot Grigio or Pino Noir) along with light appetizers provided by the Club. A little over $20/person came back to us as a Polio Plus donation along with 15% of any wine sold that night. Anyone that couldn't attend could make a donation in lieu of attendance. The event was from 5-7pm. Donated funds are tripled by the Gates Foundation. We raised $450 for Polio Plus which was tripled by the Gates Foundation..
